Pasadena : Dog Complaints Rerouted
A new procedure has been implemented in Pasadena to handle complaints about barking dogs. Beginning this week, such complaints will be routed to the Humane Society instead of the Police Department. Humane Society staff members will be available 24 hours a day to take calls at (818) 792-7151. After a complaint is received, a notice of violation will be sent to the dog’s owner by the city prosecutor’s office. If the problem continues, the owner may be prosecuted in court.
