James Houck was named marketing vice president of Whittaker Corp.’s Electronic Resources Division, a Burbank unit of Los Angeles-based Whittaker, maker of signal systems for aerospace and defense uses. Houck, 49, was previously marketing vice president at Semco Instruments in Los Angeles.
