Mozambique Reports Slaying of 72 Rebels

MAPUTO, Mozambique —
Soldiers have killed 72 rebels in the central province of Zambezia, the official Mozambican News Agency reported Friday.
The agency, quoting military sources, said another 66 guerrillas were killed this month in the Milange district, near the Malawi border.
