Khomeini Rejects Any Gulf War Arbitration
Iran’s supreme leader, the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, said Sunday that Iran must reject any arbitration in the Persian Gulf War, fight until victory and “finish off” Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

“We should continue the war until victory--and it is near. If our nation wants to bring this victory closer, it must prepare in the true sense of the word to . . . finish off this man (Hussein),” Khomeini said in a broadcast speech.
