2 Simi Valley Brothers Arrested in $4,500 Robbery, Knife Attack
Simi Valley police late Tuesday arrested two men on suspicion of attempted murder and robbery in connection with the $4,500 robbery of a Simi Valley candy wholesaler and knife attack on a woman employee, authorities said.
The robbery and attack on West Easy Street happened Friday morning and sent a 36-year-old woman, whom police did not identify, to Simi Valley Adventist Hospital with several wounds, said Sgt. Gary Collins. The woman is now in stable condition, he said.
Arrested shortly before 10 p.m. were two Simi Valley brothers, Scott Ellsworth Reid, 20, and Randy Ray Reid, 30, police said.
Collins said police had not yet determined why the woman was stabbed.
