Peace Marchers End L.A.-to-New York Leg

NEW YORK —
Nearly 900 footsore peace activists hiked across the George Washington Bridge on Thursday to complete the Los Angeles-to-New York leg of their Great Peace March for global nuclear disarmament.
About 400 are original marchers who left the West Coast March 1, a group spokesman said. The march will continue to Washington.
