Kaiser Steel sued a shareholder in federal court.

In the suit filed in U.S. District Court in Denver, Kaiser Steel charged Bruce Hendry, a Minneapolis stockbroker and a Kaiser Steel preferred shareholder, with securities violations. Kaiser Steel has asked the court to block Hendry from voting proxies he has solicited for the election of directors at the company’s annual meeting Nov. 25.
