A man who was killed Friday morning while riding a moped in Garden Grove was incorrectly identified in Saturday’s edition of The Times. The man killed was George Steven Anders, 33, of Stanton. He was riding a moped when a garbage truck traveling beside him turned left and collided with him, dragging the moped. David Moran, 29, the truck driver, was incorrectly identified as the victim. Moran has not been cited.

He said Moran was declared dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the garbage truck was not cited, but the accident is still under investigation, Hodges said. It was not clear whether Moran rode into the truck or whether the truck hit Moran, Hodges said.
