Mexico Celebrates Constitution Signing

MEXICO CITY —
City streets were quiet but roads leaving the capital were congested as tens of thousands of residents began a long weekend vacation celebrating the country’s constitution.
President Miguel de la Madrid traveled to Queretaro, 120 miles north of the capital, to lead a ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of the signing of the country’s constitution.
