Best Products Co., Richmond, Va., announced that Andrew M. Lewis has resigned as chairman and CEO after nearly three years in the posts. He has been succeeded by Robert E. R. Huntley, the company’s president and chief operating officer. No reason was given for the departure of the 40-year-old Lewis, who joined the company in 1968 when it was a four-store, family-owned business. The discount retailer now has more than 200 stores and annual revenue in excess of $2 billion.
