Cheek Pitches, Hits Mount Carmel to 13-1 Victory

Tom Cheek pitched a five-hitter and went 4 for 5 with two RBIs Saturday to lead host Mount Carmel to a 13-1 nonleague high school baseball victory over San Pasqual.

Ed Van Aelstyn hit a two-run home run in the first for Mount Carmel. Teammate Ron Kelly added two hits and two RBIs.
