No Hurrahs for Hostage

I may be the only one, but I am tired of David Jacobsen and the way he has been milking his hostage role ("My Life as a Hostage," March 1, by David P. Jacobsen with Ray Perez). Why did he stay in Beirut when all the Americans were told to leave, and why doesn't he just fade away instead of making a career out of his unfortunate experience?
