Carter’s Criticism From Overseas

Share

When the White House denounces Jimmy Carter’s criticism of President Reagan from abroad, it falls on deaf ears. I remember too many times Ronald Reagan blaming Carter for all sorts of things imaginable--and getting away with it as well.

Even the White House admits that President Carter is the only one who has had any real success in the Middle East. Not Richard Nixon or Gerald Ford and certainly not Reagan, who does a poor imitation of John Wayne.

Carter’s actions have less to do with politics and more with small-town values of individuals involved with their communities above and beyond themselves.
