Unfortunately, Too Many Others Share Mr. Campanis’ View

How revolting that, at the same time the Dodgers are making promotional hay out of the 40th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier, Al Campanis would appear on “Nightline” spewing racist bile. Even the unflappable Ted Koppel was admittedly flabbergasted as Campanis basically said that blacks are lazy, stupid and greedy, and this was the reason there are no black managers or front office executives.
