Newbury Park Wins Third in Tournament
Dara Ferris had a run-scoring single with the bases loaded in the 10th inning as Newbury Park High defeated Garden Grove, 2-1, in the third-place game of the Tournament of Champions at Anaheim Canyon High. Ferris and Stacey Frydenberg of Newbury Park (12-3) were named to the all-tournament team.
