The $150,000 in civil penalties were imposed in Ramsey County District Court against the airline and its owner, Kevin Von Feldt of Los Angeles, Atty. Gen. Hubert H. Humphrey III said. The penalties were levied by Judge Hyall Segell for using false and misleading advertising in connection with ticket sales for flights to Hawaii and “training” programs for potential flight attendants and pilots. The lawsuit was filed in November, 1983, alleging false advertising, taking reservations and selling tickets for nonstop flights to Hawaii when the “airline” had neither airplanes nor legal authority to operate.
