Black radicals in South Africa set train cars on fire and pelted moving trains with rocks as the five-day-old campaign of violence against transport services continued, the government’s Bureau for Information said. The bureau said train cars were set on fire at three suburban Johannesburg stations, while a block of cement was dropped on a moving train near Pretoria and rocks were thrown at a passenger train near Johannesburg. No injuries were reported. The latest attacks raised to more than 60 the number of coaches attacked during the week. Arson attacks began Tuesday against the South African Transport Services, which was struck by about 18,000 black workers March 13.
