Man on Motorcycle Dies in Collision
A Canoga Park man riding a motorcycle failed to stop at an intersection and was killed Sunday after being struck by a car and thrown 65 feet, police said.
Alfredo Hermosillo, 26, rode his motorcycle past a stop sign at the intersection of Milwood Avenue and Saticoy Street in Canoga Park and was hit broadside about 7 p.m., Los Angeles Police Lt. Alan Kerstein said. Hermosillo was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
The driver of the car, Karen Knudson, 29, of Reseda, was not cited, Kerstein said.
