Bonsall Man Killed When Car Overturns
An 18-year-old Bonsall resident was killed this weekend when the car he was riding in spun out of control and overturned near Lake Wohlford, outside of Escondido, authorities said.
Quentin Snow was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at 11:45 p.m. on Friday, California Highway Patrol spokesman Manuel Loya said Sunday.
A second passenger, Wade Anderson, 18, of Del Mar, was treated for minor injuries at Palomar Hospital. The driver, a 17-year-old Bonsall resident who was not identified, was not hurt, Loya said.
Loya said the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed on Lake Wohlford Road near Oakvale Road when he lost control. The car flipped and landed on top of Snow, who had been thrown from the car.
