Archie, the mayor’s dog, bit a sanitation worker who was checking on Mayor Edward I. Koch’s trash at Gracie Mansion, police said. Edwin Schwabb, 40, a sanitation foreman, went to the mansion Saturday to see if a garbage pickup was needed. Archie, a mixed-breed dog, followed Schwabb around and, when he apparently “made a sudden move, the dog bit him on the buttocks,” police said.
