Freeways and Guns
There may be no definitive solution to the freeway shootings, or a matter of fact to many crimes, but give consideration to this suggestion: Have a camera with you on the front seat of your car and if you are attacked or see a crime in progress, you shoot, not with a gun, but with your camera! There is no way that you could gather all of the information necessary to solve a crime, but the camera can catch with one shot, the license, the make of the car, the color, condition, perhaps the number of occupations, etc., or maybe only a couple of the details necessary, but at least something with which to start to solve the crime.
Most of us have several cameras; take a cheaper one, have it ready with the setting, speed, etc., and place it next to you on the seat. Keep it in the car at all times.
