A wealthy San Francisco landowner pleaded innocent in connection with the delivery to his estranged wife by his alleged homosexual lover of a bomb-rigged bouquet that injured her and a co-worker. During his appearance in San Francisco federal court, Peter K. Pilaski, 53, was served with papers naming him and co-defendant Shaun J. Small, 27, as targets of a $10-million civil suit filed by Pamela Castro, the other person injured in the explosion last Nov. 17 in the city’s General Services Administration office. A federal jury convicted Small on July 30 of delivering the booby-trapped bouquet to Melanie Pilaski. He was acquitted of a charge that he manufactured the device. Pilaski refused to testify at Small’s trial.
