Bombs were thrown at the Greek government’s Ministry of Public Order and a police precinct in Athens in an apparent protest against a visit by two U.S. 6th Fleet ships to the port of Piraeus. The bombs caused no injuries or serious damage, police said. No claim of responsibility was made, but police sources said they believe the bombs were thrown by members of the organization Christos Tsoutsouvis, named after a terrorist killed in May, 1985, during a shoot-out with police in Athens.
