Quarterbacks Are in Spotlight as 49ers Meet San Diego St.

SAN DIEGO —
A battle of quarterbacks is expected when Cal State Long Beach plays San Diego State in a nonconference game tonight at 7 in Jack Murphy Stadium.
Todd Santos of San Diego State passed for 536 yards in a 44-40 loss to Stanford last week, while Jeff Graham of the 49ers (4-3) completed 20 of 37 passes in a 33-6 victory over New Mexico State.
The Aztecs (1-6) have given up 40.7 points a game and have lost five straight.
