Local News in Brief : Funt Secretary Menaced
Los Angeles police on Thursday arrested a man suspected of breaking into the Hollywood Hills home of TV personality Alan Funt and threatening his secretary with a knife.
Funt, host of the “Candid Camera” show, which is now in syndication on cable television, was not home at the time of the incident, Lt. Neil Zachary said.
The suspect, Donald Washington, 31, of south Los Angeles, was arrested on suspicion of robbery three hours after the break-in.
