All three networks have wrapped Sunday night with big-hearted holiday specials for the entire family.

Ed Asner leads off at 7 p.m. in ABC’s “A Christmas Star,” a Disney television movie about a con man who escapes prison in a Santa Claus suit and then hooks up with two children who believe he’s real.

NBC counters with two animated Christmas specials: “Tis the Season to Be Smurfy” at 7 p.m., and “A Mouse, A Mystery and Me” at 7:30 p.m.
