A Sacramento deejay telephoned a Lebanese radio station Friday to relay a holiday message to the eight American hostages and their captors. “Everything went very well,” said Mike Reynolds, spokesman for KSFM, which broadcasts as FM102 in Sacramento. Reynolds said FM102 disc jockey Chris Collins called the Voice of Lebanon, which broadcast Collins’ message live and taped it to play throughout the holiday season. The message--asking for peace and good will--was in English and Arabic. This was the second year Collins has called Lebanon. Last year, his message was broadcast on Radio Free Lebanon, which does not have as many listeners as Voice of Lebanon, Reynolds said.
