Television, video and film companies left quite a bit more than their hearts in San Francisco in fiscal 1986-87, according to a new survey released by the San Francisco mayor’s Film Advisory Council. Nearly $95 million was spent in San Francisco by production companies--marking a 69% increase over the totals for 1984-85. Full-time production employment in the city rose 48% in the period, the survey said.
