Conejo Board Reports Second Best Sales Year

Real estate activity in the Conejo Valley was at its highest level last year since 1979 and finished as the second best sales year in the history of the Conejo Valley Board of Realtors.

Board members completed 4,124 transactions ranging from single-family homes and condominiums to mobile homes, undeveloped land and commercial property sales. Single-family homes accounted for 70.7% of the sales.

The total sales figure was up 5% from sales reported in 1986 and was second only to the 4,230 sales registered in 1979, the peak year for home buying there.
