Out of Tri-Star’s “50,” Richard Dreyfuss is trying to find a director and start Paramount’s “Let It Ride” as a gambler who strikes it rich, with David Giler producing. . . . Franklin Schaffner (“Patton”) has been set to direct “Passage” (tentative title) for Martin Ransohoff at Columbia, a romantic thriller to film in Thailand, New England and Toronto beginning in July.
