After 30 years with NBC, the last 15 as spokesman for five successive heads of the company, M.S. (Bud) Rukeyser said Tuesday he’s leaving NBC on May 1 to start a business as a press consultant for chief executives of media companies. He said NBC will be his first client. Rukeyser, 56, the brother of TV economist Louis Rukeyser, said his May departure as vice president of corporate communications was voluntary. The post will be retired after he leaves NBC.
