American Mobile Systems Registers More Shares

American Mobile Systems, a mobile radio systems operator based in Sherman Oaks, registered 16.7 million shares of common stock with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shares are to be issued when warrants and stock options are exercised, bonds are converted to stock and some stockholders sell their shares, the filing said.

According to an SEC filing, any proceeds from the exercise of the options and warrants, which entitle a holder to buy stock in a company at a specified price, would be used for general corporate purposes.
