Western Book Awards Winners to Be Honored
The Board of Trustees of the Western States Arts Federation will honor winners of its 1988 Western States Book Awards at a reception today at the Newport Beach home of Tom and Elizabeth Tierney.
The poetry winner is David Bromige for “Desire” (Black Sparrow). To be honored for winning in fiction is Irene Wanner for “Sailing to Corinth” (Owl Press). For creative nonfiction the honoree is Stanley G. Crawford for “Mayordomo: Chronicle of an Acequita in Northern New Mexico” (University of New Mexico Press).
