Even as the writers strike grinds on, networks are trying to get some sort of new programming on the air this fall. Consider Fox Broadcasting’s announcement Tuesday of the Sept. 10 debut of “Beyond Tomorrow,” a series produced in Sydney, Australia, that professes to look into “what our daily life will hold for us in the decades to come.” Included in this category: new technologies, life in space, bizarre phenomena and “environmental changes that will alter the course of our daily lives.” The “reality-based” series will run Saturday nights at 9.
