South Africa is moving troops in large numbers and military equipment toward the Angolan border with Namibia, guerrillas of the South-West Africa People’s Organization reported. The guerrillas, who are fighting to end South African rule in Namibia, said in a report by their news agency that South African forces have been strengthening their bases near the Angolan border. More fighter planes have been deployed at the Ondangwa air base, about 37 miles south of the frontier with Angola, and there are heavy concentrations of troops farther south,the rebels said.
