Israeli troops shot and wounded a 9-year-old Palestinian girl Friday when she violated a curfew by running out of her West Bank home, an Arab hospital official said.

In the Gaza Strip, a mob of Palestinians attacked a fellow Arab alleged to have cooperated with Israeli authorities, and news reports said another alleged collaborator opened fire a day earlier on a Palestinian mob that was blocking his way in the West Bank, wounding a teen-ager.

Also Friday, 14-year-old Aymen Yammen died from a gunshot wound to the eye that he suffered during clashes last week in the West Bank village of Tal, hospital officials said.

An Arab hospital official said 9-year-old Marah Nadadeli of Nablus was shot in the left leg when she ran out of her house.

The official said the girl thought she heard the army announce on loudspeakers that a curfew was over. The announcement actually said the curfew was continuing.

In the occupied Gaza Strip, residents of the Jabaliya refugee camp attacked a Palestinian fireman who worked for the military administration, and his family defended him with knives and chains, the army said.
