Royal 17, Agoura 13--Quarterback Pat Ledesma passed for 156 yards and rushed for 94 more in 20 carries as Royal earned its first win of the season and only its sixth in the past five years.

Ledesma, a senior, completed 5 of 16 passes, with no interceptions and 2 touchdowns. Both touchdown passes went to Jason Jones, who scored on a 78-yard reception at the start of the second period and caught a 20-yard scoring pass with 11:48 to play to give Royal a 17-7 lead.

The last score for Royal was set up by a 50-yard reception by Jones’ twin brother James. The Jones brothers accounted for all of Ledesma’s completions. Jason made 3 catches for 100 yards and James had 2 for 56 yards.

Agoura quarterback Brian Jauch completed 6 of 16 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown, and Zac Miller rushed for 33 yards in 9 carries.
