Firm to Manage Property in State for Investors From Asia

Charles Dunn Co. and Haseko (California) Inc. have joined in a new venture, Haseko-Dunn Management Co., to manage prime properties for Far East investors in California and later expanding its services to other states.

It is reportedly the first firm formed with equal partnership between a United States developer/investor with direct ties to Japan and a major department of a U.S. full-service real estate firm.

A Nov. 13 story on the formation of the Haseko-Dunn Management Co. did not list the officers who will represent the Charles Dunn Co., the managing partner in the joint venture. They are Walter J. Conn, James C. Ewing and Jeffrey G. Gunther.

The joint venture will be headed by Soichiro Kawase, senior executive vice president and general manager; Richard Bybee, director of asset management, and James P. Garrigus, vice president.

Haseko-Dunn will have a temporary office at the Dunn Building, 1200 Wilshire Blvd., and will move to the World Trade Center at 350 S. Figueroa St. on Jan. 1.
