Jesse Dylan directed Maria McKee’s upcoming video, “To Miss Someone.” Dylan is the son of you-know-who. McKee, who is scheduled to open for Neil Young at the Pacific Amphitheatre and the Greek Theatre this week, made her first appearance on the “Tonight Show” last week. . . . Khiry Abdul-Samad, at age 15 the oldest member of the Boys, directed the group’s new “Happy” video. . . . The debut album by Michael Penn, the younger brother of actor Sean Penn, is due on RCA Records on Sept. 12. Penn wrote all of the songs on the album, titled “March.” . . . Madonna, Sting and Brian Wilson are among the artists who have donated items to be auctioned off at a music-industry dinner to benefit the American Foundation for AIDS Research. George Michael, Prince, Ringo Starr and Elton John also contributed personal effects for the auction, to be held Oct. 15 in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

Michael Jackson is planning to release a double greatest-hits album this Christmas with three new songs. The Bad One has opted to work with new producers on the songs rather than Quincy Jones, who has guided his last three blockbuster albums. No word on whether Jackson and Jones will re-team for Jackson’s next studio album.
