Community College Roundup : Golden West Wins Water Polo Title

The Golden West water polo team defeated Cypress, 14-6, in the final of the San Diego Mesa tournament Saturday.

Henry Rabello had five goals to lead Golden West and Tono Saulkner added three.

Golden West defeated Palomar, 10-4, in its semifinal game. Steve Kidder had three goals to lead Golden West in that game.

In Community College men’s soccer:

Fullerton 3, Palomar 1--Host Fullerton scored twice in the second half to break a 1-1 tie and gain the victory. Bill Saba, Kirk Feiereisen and Luis Panduro scored for Fullerton (6-2-1). Eddie Rackleff scored for Palomar (3-3-1).
