The inaugural Bryant Gumbel/Walt Disney World Pro-Am Golf Tournament held over the weekend in Florida raised $200,000 for the United Negro College Fund. Gumbel, host of NBC’s “Today” show and a United Negro College Fund board member, teed off in a foursome with Vice President Dan Quayle, Gov. Bob Martinez of Florida and NBC-TV sports commentator Mark Rolfing, who is the vice president’s former college roommate at DePauw University and golfing buddy.
