The San Diego-based manufacturer of test instruments reported a profit of $209,000 on sales of $21 million for the fourth quarter ended Sept. 30, contrasted with a loss of $2.3 million on revenue of $20.4 million for the same three months the previous year. For the fiscal year, Wavetek’s profit was $895,000 on revenue of $85.2 million, contrasted with a loss of $7.6 million on revenue of $84.3 million reported for the previous fiscal year.
