Patrons doled out $10 to see Jessica Hahn at a Canadian nude-dancing club, and all she did was talk. Many of the 75 people who attended the show at the Million Dollar Saloon in this city across the Detroit River from Detroit said they felt tricked.
“It’s true that you’re seeing me, but I’m not taking my clothes off,” said Hahn, the former church secretary whose sexual encounter with television evangelist Jim Bakker spurred his downfall.
“The difference between what I’m doing and what Jim Bakker did is that he passes around a collection plate,” she told her audience Monday night.
Club manager John Trecapelli Jr. said he delivered exactly what his advertisements promised: that Hahn would appear in person through Saturday.
