British Aerospace Inc. announced that Pan Am Express has ordered 10 of the company’s new Jetstream 41 regional airliners and 10 of the smaller Jetstream Super 31s, with options taken on another 10 of each model.

Value of the 20 firm orders is $210 million and the total potential contract value is double that amount, British Aerospace said.

Pan Am Express, a commuter subsidiary of New York-based Pan Am Corp., operates mainly in the northeastern United States and within Europe as a feeder line for Pan American World Airways.
