San Diego
A 58-year-old man died early Wednesday when he was hit by a car while jaywalking, police said.
Robert Francis Little, who lived in the 600 block of F Street in San Diego, died at the scene shortly after 2 a.m., said a spokesman for the medical examiner’s office.
Police said Little was crossing 10th Avenue, between E and F streets, when he was hit, said Police Sgt. Michael Healey.
Healey said the driver, 62-year-old Alex Acosta of Mira Mesa, was not cited because Little was at fault.
“The driver had just left a green light and didn’t even have time to react,” Healey said.
