East German Train Derailed; 34 Injured

EAST BERLIN —
A passenger train traveling from Berlin to Dresden derailed Sunday and four cars tumbled down an embankment, injuring 34 people, East Germany’s news agency said.
The train was traveling near Boehla, just northwest of Dresden, when it derailed, ADN reported. Dresden is about 125 miles south of Berlin.
The news agency said 25 of the 34 injured were taken to a hospital.
The cause of the derailment was not immediately known.
