Bottled Water for Troops
In response to “Desert Dilemma: How to Shut Off That Designer Water; Get Back to Canteens,” Part A, Sept. 25:
I strongly support our soldiers being supplied with bottled water. I am appalled that in the near future they are going to be forced to drink desalted water from the Persian Gulf. Why all the fuss when the Saudi government is paying for the water?
Don’t our soldiers deserve one little pleasure in Saudi Arabia? Give them a break!
