Assigning Blame on Budget Mess
When are the middle-class voters and elderly going to wake up to the fact that both the Democrats and the Republicans have given us a tax structure that favors the rich? The GOP image may be the Party of Greed, but the Democrats have gone right along with it.
Both parties got us into this oligarchic mess, with the rich riding on the backs of the rest of us. How ironic it is that Kevin Phillips, a Republican Party strategist, expertly makes this point in his book, which is as much an indictment of the Republicans as it is the Democrats.
