GM, Ford Issue Recalls: General Motors Corp. has recalled about 43,000 of its 1991 model Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird cars for potential seat belt problems. Separately, Ford Motor Co. recalled about 143,000 of its 1990-91 Ford Thunderbird and Mercury Cougar cars because of a possible windshield wiper problem.
