Wet Seal Marches On: Seemingly unstoppable Irvine-based Wet Seal has negotiated leases for six more Florida stores and plans to expand three of its already-open California stores.

The mid-price retailer of high-fashion women’s apparel plans to open stores in the Florida cities of Fort Lauderdale, Port Charlotte, Daytona, Miami and Orlando. An outlet store will be opened in Sunrise, Fla. Those new stores are in addition to the eight stores that the chain already has in Florida.

In addition, construction is under way to enlarge and enhance Wet Seal stores at the Tyler Galleria in Riverside, at the Topanga Plaza in Canoga Park and at the Puente Hills Mall in the City of Industry.
